White Widow

Most probably all of you have smoked this. She is one of the most famous strains ever bred and has been available in most shops since forever.
With an average THC percentage of around 20%, this strain belongs to the more or less hard-core stuff you find in Amsterdam. Might get you even more stoned than you have wished for, but if you know what to expect, it’s a definite recommended weed to smoke.
Her taste is deep, a bit piney and has a hint of citrus.
The strain is also not that hard to grow and does pretty good even outdoors.

Skunk

Another absolute classic. Skunk, or sometimes named Super Skunk, you will find in many coffeeshops. This strain has mostly Indica genetics, so you should be prepared to get knocked down on the couch. Maybe not the best weed to smoke when you want to walk around the city of Amsterdam, but you can’t skip it when in town. Maybe give it a try before going to sleep in your hostel.
Skunk has a very specific smell. Pungent and musky. But with hints of fruit that will make your lips get wet when you smell the joint when you light it up.
Skunk is very easy to grow and perfect for the outdoor grower that doesn’t want to invest too much effort.

Amnesia Haze

This is a weed that has won many many many prizes and cups. The difference with Skunk and White Widow, is that this weed has more Sativa genetics. As hopefully most of you know, smoking Sativa has a different effect on you than Indica. It will give a different rush and is more energetic in that sense and wont have the usual “couchlock” effect. Some say more euphoric and a cerebral high.
The taste and smell of Amnesia Haze is one that you won’t ever forget after having smoked this fantastic strain. Spicy, a bit fruity and a sweet and floral undertone.
